(VILNIUS) – Norwegian based company Linstow is investing in the extension of the Radisson Blu Hotel Lietuva in Vilnius.
The general contractor and project designer is Merko Statyba, which signed a contract worth EUR 15.7 mln. The new extension will have eight floors with a total area of 39,500 sqm and is to open its doors in May 2018 with 165 new rooms. In total the hotel will have 456 rooms and will remain the largest in the country. The ground floor of the new building will be reserved for retail, while the first and second floors will have a business and conference centre. Radisson Blue Hotel Lietuva will have a total of 456 rooms and it will remain the largest hotel in Lithuania. The new section of the four-star business hotel will have a retail area on the ground floor. Its first and second floor will include a conference and business centre. “The hotel will be BREEAM-certified,” said Saulius Putrimas, the general director of Merko Statyba. The project is planned to be A+ class in terms of energy efficiency.
